Annie Yu spent over a decade in public service as a Pierce County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and Assistant Attorney General. Annie has handled thousands of criminal cases and has extensive misdemeanor and felony trial and sentencing experience. In addition to trial court level experience, Annie has practiced at all levels of the Washington Courts of Appeals and federally up to the Ninth Circuit. This substantial experience in a wide variety of courts offers her clients an unmatched level of knowledge on how to move cases through the system.

One of Annie’s core beliefs is that a person should not be judged based on their biggest mistake, but rather should be able to make amends and move on with their lives. As a deputy prosecutor her favorite cases and dockets were dockets where the court celebrated a person’s effort toward rehabilitation and completion of their obligations related to their sentences.
